Japanese mineral onsen, classical Sivananda yoga, qigong and traditional Eastern medicine, set in the hills of Ba Vì less than an hour from central Hanoi.
Ikigai was not built the way a resort is built. The four pillars below are the whole reason this retreat exists, and they are what guests take home with them.
Hot mineral bathing with natural herbs, plus a jacuzzi and sauna, to relax the body and improve sleep.
Classical Sivananda yoga, meditation and Chân Nguyên qigong, guided every day by our teachers.
An Eastern medicine doctor reads your pulse, examines you and advises on daily habits. Herbal teas and cleanse programmes are designed around your constitution.
Carefully sourced ingredients, cooked to balance nutrition and flavour, nourishing the body from within.
A full day from 09:00 to 17:00, long enough for real care: eat well, rest deeply, move gently, unwind and listen to your body.
Monday to Friday only. Not available on Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays or Tết.
Cleansing at Ikigai is not fasting, and it is not a packed timetable. It is time for the body to rest, to be cared for and to be listened to.
The body takes a break from solid food, replaced by staged drinks of organic vegetables, fruit and herbs. Alongside runs a retreat schedule of meditation, breathwork, qigong, yoga and time in nature.
Train the body, cultivate the breath, nourish the mind. Structured teaching and practice with a master beside you, plus a practice handbook, a personal herbal tea prescription and a three to six month plan to follow at home.
A Japanese relaxation method given through light hand placement, with no massage and no need to undress. Ikigai offers both private sessions and training courses.
Our cleanse and therapy programmes support relaxation and recovery. They do not replace medical advice or treatment, and results differ from person to person.
Every treatment begins with understanding where your body is today.
Free Our Eastern medicine doctor reads the pulse and gives a diagnosis for every guest before any treatment is chosen.
